An Afternoon in West Jeru

Today was mostly filled with classes-Old Testament, Hebrew, Islamic Modern Eastern Studies, and Jewish Modern Eastern studies. But the girls and I did find some time to escape and visit West Jerusalem. West Jerusalem is sooo different from East Jerusalem, its crazy! It felt somewhat like New York actually, just a bit more clean. Stacey, Melissa, and I had a great, relaxing (and filling) afternoon there, wandering around the city, streets, and stores, and finding all sorts of good food

we found the greatest bakery ever, so cheap and good!

pita falafels....yum

and of course the perfect way to end an afternoon, gelato :)

Needless to say it was the first time we have been full since we got here haha. We had to hurry back and get back to work after only a few hours, but it was a great escape and we will definitely be returning. Lovin' these girls and lovin' this city!
